Whitefish fillet has a rich taste and you can easily make delicious food almost as is. When you season the whitefish fillet with a pinch of salt and pepper and add a knob of butter to the pan, the delicacy is soon ready. The leather should also be left to bring flavor. The whitefish, which belongs to salmon fish, is quite lean.

Kalaneuvos whitefish is farmed in the Archipelago Sea or caught wild from Lappajärvi, Kyrösjärvi or the Archipelago Sea in the Åland region. Whitefish have only been farmed in Finland since the early 2000s.
