Prepare food from Kruunu Herkku
The small municipality of Juva in Etelä Savo has a large kitchen where we cook. We have 60 cooks, 22 frying pans and 10 cauldrons.
When you ask our masters how to become a good chef, the answer is simple: you have to love the ingredients. We source root vegetables as close as possible, potatoes from Ostrobothnia and meat products from well-known domestic butchers. From these ingredients, we make traditional and sometimes less traditional food, from ground beef steak to Pasta Carbonara.
We are a small family business and we like to make our own food. You can already see from the different-looking spinach pancakes that the size and degree of crispness is decided by our chefs, not by any kind of machine. We make ready-made food from restaurant shelves to service counters and ready-made food shelves in stores, as well as Foodservice to wholesale customers.
